Terms of Service
Draft of November 5, 2026
These terms are between Tandem and the company that uses it (the carrier), and every person who signs in on the company's behalf. By creating an account you accept them for yourself and confirm you may accept them for your company.
What Tandem is
Tandem is software for US trucking companies: it estimates what a load is worth to the truck and its people, keeps loads, rate confirmations, fleet records and safety files, and helps the dispatch office run the week. It is a tool for your people's decisions; it does not book, drive or carry freight, and it is not a broker or a carrier.
Accounts and companies
Each person has their own account with a work email and a password they keep secret. A company's owners decide who joins and what each member may do. A company that claims an MC or USDOT number must be that carrier: we check the claim against FMCSA's records and may ask for proof, and we may refuse or withdraw a claim that is not genuine.
Your company's data
What your company puts into Tandem stays your company's: loads, rates, documents, drivers, equipment and settlements. You give us the right to store and process it only to run Tandem for you. Other companies on Tandem never see it.
Estimates are estimates
Profit, fuel, tolls, routes, hours of service and the reading of rate confirmations are worked out from public and licensed data and from what you enter, and they can be wrong. A person on your side checks every rate con before it becomes a load, and your company stays responsible for its bookings, its compliance with FMCSA rules and its drivers' safety.
Fair use
Do not use Tandem to break the law, to upload what you have no right to share, to reach another company's data, to probe or overload the service, or to copy it. Accounts are personal: do not share a password.
Outside services
Tandem relies on outside services named in the Privacy page (maps and routing, the AI that reads rate confirmations, FMCSA's public data, email delivery). When one of them is down or changes, parts of Tandem may answer less or not at all.
Early testing
Tandem is in early testing. It is offered as it is, may change or pause, and has no promised uptime yet. Keep your own copies of anything you must keep by law.
Limits of responsibility
As far as the law allows, Tandem is not liable for lost profit, lost loads, fines or indirect damage that come from using the service or from an estimate. Nothing here limits a responsibility the law does not let us limit.
Ending
Your company may stop using Tandem at any time and ask us to delete its data. We may suspend an account or a company that breaks these terms, and we will say why unless the law or safety forbids it.
Changes to these terms
We will tell you by email or in Tandem before a change takes effect. Using Tandem after that means you accept the new terms.
